This is a members-only streaming service produced by the creators team UPSIDE DOWN. You can view for a fee (some for free) the many theatrical productions and cinematic works that UPSIDE DOWN has produced with our wonderful colleagues, as well as the making of each production and special feature videos. The latest productions produced with our new team will be available here one after another. We hope you will enjoy them.
UPSIDE DOWN
The team of creators formed in 2014 based in Fukuoka, Kyushu. As their name suggests, they take on the challenge of creating works in all genres, captivating audiences and viewers with their original worldviews, unexpected storylines, and high quality. In addition to theater productions, the group has been active in a variety of fields, including the distribution of original series on YouTube and content for overseas audiences. It has also contributed extensively to the creation of external productions by providing scripts to various organizations, writing new scripts, and supervising video productions. This year marks the 10th anniversary of their activities. Their leader's name is TOBY WASNOBODY.
TOBY WASNOBODY
Leader of UPSIDE DOWN. Real name is YUHEI OURA. Born in Fukuoka, Japan. He's the son of an English teacher and translator, and began learning English at an early age by listening to music and watching movies. TOBY was a nickname given around this time, after the American novelist Tobias Wolff. He dreams of becoming a film director and became a member of the drama club in high school. Studied at Kyushu Sangyo University's Department of Visual Media in the Faculty of Arts, where he spent three years as an actor, scriptwriter, and director in the drama club. Immediately after retiring from that club, he formed UPSIDE DOWN with his friends in 2014. Since then, he has performed in almost all of the team's productions, while also writing and directing. Due to physical and mental problems, he decided to retire from acting in 2024. After his next production, he changed his name to TOBY WASNOBODY, and will only produce works.
