A sequel that takes place several years after the final episode of the original series MASQUE. A young man suspected of being a bomber encounters an informant, SHIZUKU KYOGOKU. Meanwhile, NATSUKO NATSUME, who once launched MASQUE, is nearing the time to fulfill her own destiny. In a departure from the comical previous series, the dark fates of the protagonists and their consequences are revealed.
